BIOGRAPHY:
Yayra Erica Nego (26, Plymouth) was selected Miss Universe Ghana 2011 from a casting held at the Movenpik Ambassador Hotel in Accra. She will represent Ghana in Miss Universe 2011.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Nego was the state representative in Miss USA 2009 and finished as a semifinalist. This is the second year in a row than an American with Ghanaian ancestry competes in Miss Universe.
