Thailand to host Mister International 2011
Alan Sim, President of the Mister Singapore Organization, has recently announced that the 2011 MISTER INTERNATIONAL Pageant will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on December 17.
“I am very pleased to announce the selection of Thailand as the host site for 2011 MISTER INTERNATIONAL Pageant,” said Alan Sim. “Thailand is a breathtaking country that is rich in history and culture. We will have 50 of the most handsome men in the world competing in one of the world’s preeminent male pageant event who will be able to experience this.”
“Thailand Beauties Organizationis delighted that we have reached an agreement with the Mister Singapore Organization to host the 2011 MISTER INTERNATIONAL Pageant in Bangkok, Thailand,” said the company’s Managing Director, Pradit Pradinunt. “We believe it is fitting for Thailand to set the stage for this glamorous event, and we look forward to showing the contestants, the exciting and vibrant culture of our beautiful country.”
For the first time, fans will be able to vote their favorite contestant into the quarterfinals of the 2011 MISTER INTERNATIONAL Pageant. Fans can vote online at www.MisterInternational.net. Date for the online voting will be announced soon.
The 2011 MISTER INTERNATIONAL Pageant will feature contestants from approximately 50 countries around the world. They will be judged in three categories: swimwear, evening wear and interview, as they vie for the coveted title of MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2011.
British Ryan Terry, MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2010, will crown his successor at the conclusion of the pageant. He made history as the first contestant from Europe to be crowned MISTER INTERNATIONAL. During his reign, Ryan has traveled the world as an advocate for healthy lifestyle. The next MISTER INTERNATIONAL will continue this work.

The Miss World Sports event was held at the surroundings of the Crieff Hydro Hotel. The challenges were part of the Miss World Highland Games where contestants took part in a series of Scottish challenges.



The blue team comprised by the representatives from Panama, Paraguay, Germany, Jamaica, Latvia and Portugal was the winning team.

The orange team comprised by the representatives from Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico, Sweden, Singapore, Uganda and Scotland finished in second place.

The green team comprised by the representatives from Czech Republic, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Denmark, Hungary and Botswana finished in third place.

The red team comprised by the representatives from Bonaire, Australia, Bahamas, Canada, Chile and Bolivia finished in fourth place.

The six winners from the sprints (six different groups, the winner from each group) were Trinidad and Tobago, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Latvia, Uganda and Scotland.

Claudia Schiess of Ecuador is the newly crowned Miss American Continent 2011

Claudia Schiess, the representative of Ecuador, was crowned Miss American Continent 2011 competing at home, in the city of Guayaquil. Claudia had previously represented her country in Miss Supranational 2010 and Miss Universe 2011.



The 1st runner-up came from the Dominican Republic, Dalia Fernandez, who also competed in Miss Universe 2011. Mexico’s Cecilia Montaño was the 2nd runner-up.

The other three finalists were the candidates of Brazil, Colombia, and Panama.

Both Ecuador and Dominican Republic failed to advance to the semi-finals when competing in Miss Universe, earlier this year.
